International loss adjuster Crawford & Company’s Australia CEO Andrew Bart has added the role of Pacific CEO to his responsibilities.

“We are expanding our footprint and our presence in the Pacific,” Mr Bart, who remains based in Sydney, told insuranceNEWS.com.au.

“We want to achieve increased market penetration in Australia and in New Zealand in particular – and to explore opportunities in PNG and other Pacific locations.”

Last year Crawfords re-established its brand in New Zealand, via an associate arrangement with the former Cerno NZ.

Mr Bart has joined the executive leadership team for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific, and will continue to be part of the global senior management team.

Meanwhile, Richard Martin has been appointed Asia-Pacific Chairman. He was formerly the regional CEO and will continue on the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific leadership team and the global management team.
