Insurance law specialist Barry.Nilsson Lawyers has continued its eastern-states expansion, with a new office in Melbourne due to open on July 1.

It follows the Brisbane-based firm’s move into Sydney last year.

“With an increasing client base on the east coast, it was an integral part of our client service strategy to have a physical presence in the major cities of Sydney and Melbourne,” Managing Partner Don Leembruggen said.

The Melbourne CBD branch will be staffed by “a team of leading insurance lawyers”, including three former Hunt & Hunt partners – Nieva Connell, Hubert Wajszel and Peter Ewin.
