Aviso Group has added Western Insurance Brokers to its Steadfast-affiliated broker network.

Private equity business and Aviso Group partner Envest facilitated the move, taking a minority stake in Western, which is based in Colac, Victoria.

Western is Aviso’s ninth member, following QSure Insurance’s addition last November.

“Western has a clear plan to… grow a progressive and entrepreneurial business, and aligns with Envest’s strategy of building businesses that create value for customers, suppliers and shareholders,” Envest MD Greg Mullins said.

Aviso CEO Craig Robson says Western Insurance is a good fit geographically.
