Ausure has appointed former Steadfast executive Ellie Laidlaw to the newly created CFO position, based in Brisbane.

She worked on Steadfast’s acquisition team for the past three years, and has previously worked with PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young.

“[Ms Laidlaw] has valuable experience in reviewing and analysing insurance business financial situations, and brings an insider’s knowledge of the insurance broking industry,” Ausure MD Troy Brown said.

“She also has significant experience in buying and selling insurance broker portfolios, which will be of great value to Ausure because we are increasingly providing assistance to branches in this area.”
