Perth-based Austral Risk Services has bought a 50% shareholding in SME specialist TDH Insurance Services.

Austral, an Austbrokers member with more than 3000 clients, will manage administration and financial functions for TDH, whose staff will move from nearby Warwick to Austral’s office.

TDH will act as a corporate authorised representative under Austral’s licence. TDH founder and MD Tom Heels, who will maintain a shareholding, says the move allows him to focus less on administration and more on clients and development.
