Austbrokers adds another
Austbrokers’ NSW Central Coast operation has acquired associate company Gosford Insurance Brokers.
The “associate” designation allows prospective Austbrokers members to experience the network’s operating methods without equity involvement. But Austbrokers Central Coast MD Bob White says the owners of Gosford Insurance Brokers have elected to sell their company as a “bolt-on”.
“This purchase allows Austbrokers Central Coast to strengthen its business within the region and provide the necessary scale to continue to grow,” he said.
In the past year about 17 portfolios or businesses have been acquired by various members within the Austbrokers group.
