AUB’s equity partner Altius Group has acquired WA injury management specialist PeopleSense.

The deal represents a continuation of AUB’s strategy to offer total risk solutions to business clients across Australia.

“We already had a limited presence in WA, but bringing PeopleSense into the Altius Group really adds to both parties’ proposition and growth potential,” AUB MD and CEO Mark Searles told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “It’s a really good pick-up for us.”

PeopleSense provides return to work, employee assistance program, counselling and injury prevention services.

Its client base is spread across insurers, government departments, large corporations and non-profit organisations. It employs 70 health professionals and is one of the largest private employers of clinical psychologists in WA.

“In the risk services sector, AUB Group has already partnered with a number of Australia’s best-performing companies,” Mr Searles said.

“With the Altius acquisition of PeopleSense, we further expand our capacity to offer total risk management outcomes to clients, a cornerstone of our ambition to be Australia’s leading risk management group.”
