Specialist insurer Assetinsure has signed up with the Australian branch of Inter Hannover to write professional liability insurance for Australian-domiciled risks for the Hannover Re unit.

Assetinsure says its operations in other classes of insurance remain unaffected by this new partnership, that will see its professional risks department operate as managing general agent for Inter Hannover.

“The target market for Assetinsure Professional Risks will remain largely unchanged with a focus on medium-to-large professional firms and ‘corporate’ risks across a wide range of occupations,” the company said in a statement.
