Sydney-based Assetinsure director Julie Osborne will take over as Chair of the company from industry veteran Hans Sprangers.

Ms Osborne has been a director since 2014 and is chair of Assetinsure’s board audit and investment committees.

Johnny Symmonds, director of Lombard Australia Holdings, which is the parent company of the Assetinsure Group, says Ms Osborne has guided and supported the company through some eventful times”.

Assetinsure specialises in niche insurance classes of business including Surety, Credit Enhancement, Builders Warranty and Owner Builders, Enthusiast Motor, the Cover Genius Programme and Landlord Insurance.

Lombard took ownership in July last year.

Mr Sprangers joined the board in 2003, becoming the Chairman in 2018.
