Aon takes Comcover off Marsh

Aon Australia has picked up another large contract off arch-rival Marsh, signing a three-year deal to provide Comcover with insurance and risk management services. It’s the second recent significant win for Aon, which also picked up the Hobart Ports contract.

Corporate Risk Services GM Steve Nevett says Aon will provide insurance and risk management services to more than 180 Federal Government departments and agencies, including the departments of defence, foreign affairs and trade, and taxation.

Aon has also acquired specialty healthcare broker Clark Pollard. CEO Peter Harmer says Clark Pollard’s expertise in healthcare and professional risks “complement the existing skills and practices at Aon”.
