Aon has entered into a partnership with the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys of Australia to offer its 900-plus members professional indemnity insurance and other services.

The broker says it will work closely with the peak body to develop tailor-made products that will meet the risk needs of its members.

“Our common industry and risk characteristics means our partnership is well-aligned and ensures the risk and insurance solutions we offer resonates with [the institute’s] members,” Aon Client Director Sharon Quennell said.

Michael Caine, the institute’s President, says the partnership will provide an “attractive” professional indemnity insurance solution for members, especially for sole practitioners and small to medium-sized firms.
