Aon Risk Solutions has merged several of its businesses to form an expanded division called Financial Specialties.

The division will incorporate M&A Solutions, Environmental Services Group, Trade Credit and Surety and Financial Services Group.

It will be overseen by M&A Solutions Client Director Jennifer Richards, who will report to Aon Risk Solutions CEO Lambros Lambrou.

Ms Richards is responsible for “creating and implementing the Financial Specialties strategy”, Mr Lambrou says.

“I am confident her experience and strong leadership skills will ensure even greater success for our expanded segment and its clients. It’s particularly pleasing to be able to assign leadership of this important segment from within our own Aon ranks.”

Liz Botha and Stephen Trickey will continue to lead Trade Credit and Surety and Financial Services Group respectively, reporting to Ms Richards.

Mr Lambrou says uniting the businesses creates a “point of difference” for Aon.

“The decision to bring these specialist teams together means we can leverage strength to maximise the value we provide clients,” he said.

“It will deliver growth and improve the scale of our technical and subject-matter capability across key market segments.”
