Aon corporate chief takes client strategy role
The MD of Aon Global and Corporate in Australia Jason Disborough has been appointed to the new international role of Aon Risk Solutions Joint CEO, Multinational Clients.
Marsh Executive Director Bruce Gordon will succeed Mr Disborough in the Australian role.
Mr Gordon was responsible for Marsh’s corporate segment in NSW, the ACT and Queensland.
Mr Disborough will share his new role with Chicago-based Christopher Baudouin, and will continue to be based in Australia.
His position involves “driving global multinational client strategy”, and will focus on the Asia-Pacific region.
Mr Disborough will continue to work with Australian service teams and clients.
Aon Risk Solutions Australia CEO Lambros Lambrou says Mr Disborough has made a “significant contribution” to growing the global and corporate segment in Australia.
He says Mr Disborough, Mr Gordon and Aon Global and Corporate Australia Chairman Paul Venning will lead the development of Aon’s large-client strategy here, with a strong emphasis on risk management, risk retention and risk transfer solutions.
