Ansvar Insurance has appointed four senior managers following a review of its operations and services.

Richard Wyatt will become Chief Underwriter. He has more than 35 years’ experience working in the UK and Australia, including a spell as a senior manager with Ansvar’s UK parent Ecclesiastical Insurance Group.

Executive team member Ian Ireland becomes GM Sales, having previously held positions in underwriting, claims, reinsurance, sales, broking and management.

Rob Harley, who has worked for Wesfarmers and OAMPS, will take over as GM Underwriting Operations.

Jim Varelas becomes Deputy GM Strategic Partnerships. He has previously worked as distribution manager at Allianz and sales and development manager at Wesfarmers.
