Ansvar drops EIG in re-brand
Australian-based EIG-Ansvar has dropped its precursor initials under a re-branding that is in line with the direction its UK parent company is taking.
Ansvar Insurance, as it is now known, will remain as part of the Ecclesiastical Insurance Group, providing insurance lines to church organisations, educational facilities, community groups, aged-care homes, retirement villages and not-for-profit organisations.
CEO John Peberdy says the company’s strong focus on ethical and professional dealings and commitment to Australia’s youth through community education grants will also continue.
Ansvar, with gross written premium of more than $120 million, also offers comprehensive packages across a range of personal insurance classes, including home and contents, motor vehicles and boats.
