Ansvar cutting jobs as part of restructure

Ansvar is restructuring its management team and may reduce its 124 staff by 10% as it refocuses on its five core business segments.

CEO Andrew Moon is reducing management levels by merging some positions and has told insuranceNEWS.com.au the changes will be completed within weeks.

Mr Moon says Ansvar is moving from being a high-volume business after quitting household and motor to a “low volume, high-value” business concentrating on the faith, care, not-for-profit, education and heritage segments.

He says its personnel mix has had to change as a result.

The company wants to work more closely with brokers and will run briefings for them this year.
