Sydney-based underwriting agency Dual Australia has signed an agreement that will see it writing business on behalf of Lumley General Insurance.

Dual – which specialises in underwriting professional indemnity and directors’ and officers’ insurance – has been around for only a couple of years but it has more than 5000 policyholders.

Lumley CEO David Matcham says his company’s record will help drive the Dual business forward. “This partnership re-affirms our commitment to forming strategic business relationships in specialist products and services for the benefit of our brokers.”

The arrangement will officially begin at the end of this month.
