Personal lines rival AAMI is understood to be giving NRMA a real run for its money in the highly competitive NSW market. While spokesman, Executive Chairman Corporate Affairs Michael Kay, was reluctant to disclose figures, he confirmed speculation that AAMI is “doing remarkably well” in NSW. The Royal & SunAlliance-owned niche operator is understood to be gaining high market growth at the expense of NRMA.
