ANA split gives rise to new loss adjuster network
A new loss adjuster network has formed after the six partners of Australian Network Adjusters (ANA) split up.
Five ANA shareholders have created All States and Territories Adjusters (ASTA) Group, while principal shareholder Jaye Kumar is relaunching ANA.
ASTA was formed following a disagreement over ANA’s future direction, CEO Dave Bazen told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
Its shareholders want to retain the strategic alliance model, under which work is sent to state officers and distributed to members of the network.
The partners put ANA into voluntary liquidation and Mr Kumar has bought it back.
ANA is the Australian partner of international network VRS Global; it retains this contract.
Mr Kumar says ANA will have a new structure in place this week.
Current contracts will continue and there will be no disruption to clients, he told insuranceNEWS.com.au. “We have been transparent about this. Clients have been informed and service continuity guaranteed.”
ASTA will launch on Wednesday with 30 company members employing 50 loss adjusters.
Perth-based Mr Bazen, MD of Jarm Adjusting, will be State Manager for WA, SA and the NT.
The other state managers are Vivienne English, Queensland, Laurie Starkey, NSW, Ian Mathieson, Victoria and George Rosevear Tasmania.
ASTA has developed an operating platform and spent last week launching the new business to clients.
