ANA restructures to support regional members
Australian Network Adjusters (ANA) has restructured, with new state managers and 35 members.
The move will increase the group’s strength outside the capital cities, giving stronger support to regional members, MD Jaye Kumar says.
“This will also give us greater flexibility and capacity for specialty claims and catastrophe response,” he told insuranceNEWS.com.au.
ANA’s six partners split last month because they could not agree on the group’s future direction. They liquidated the company and offered it for sale among themselves, with Mr Kumar winning the tender.
The new state managers are Brian Treloar, NSW/Victoria and Tasmania; Mike Pagels, WA, SA and NT; and Keith Patterson, Queensland.
Mr Kumar plans to appoint more state managers. “We are in the final stages of negotiation with several people we were really keen to have involved but could not accommodate under the previous structure,” he said.
