AMA Group will consolidate operations from two locations into a super site at Booragoon WA that will house co-located Capital SMART and Gemini businesses.

The expanded site, which AMA says is well equipped to complete both drive and non-drive repairs, will include operations from Gemini Melville and Gemini Welshpool.

Booragoon has been hibernated through covid, maintaining a Capital SMART shopfront presence without production.

“Consolidating Melville and Welshpool allows us to take advantage of the fantastic facility at Booragoon,” COO Mathew Cooper said. “Co-locating Capital SMART and Gemini allows us to leverage the site to service multiple customers and remove surplus property costs.”

The transition is expected to be completed by the end of June, with the consolidation expected to deliver annual savings of more than $600,000.
