Allied World Assurance has stepped up its presence in the Australian professional liability market with the introduction of new policies for directors and officers’ liability, architects and engineers’ professional indemnity, and miscellaneous professional indemnity.

VP Professional Liability Australia Kym Beazleigh says each new product is targeted at Australian-based companies and has a maximum capacity of $10 million.

The new products will raise Allied World’s profile as a player in the professional liability market.

“We will continue to leverage our global capabilities to strengthen our offerings in Australia and build on our success across the region,” Mr Beazleigh said.
