Allianz Australia and NSW’s largest business organisation, the Australian Business Limited (ABL) State Chamber of Commerce, plan to sort out a cheaper workers’ compensation scheme for SMEs by aggregating them into industry groups.

ABL CEO Kevin MacDonald says the launch of the new product, which has been dubbed Business Cover Plus, is an important step to further reducing the cost of operating a business in NSW.

“We have lobbied the Government long and hard to reduce costs,” he said.

ABL members will have access to an integrated workers’ compensation service incorporating claims, occupational health and safety and risk management coupled with account management services.
