Allianz Global Assistance will provide travel insurance to financial services group CUA.

It has developed business-to-customer and business-to-business website platforms for the partnership, and designed CUA’s iTravel Wallet phone app.

The app can be downloaded from iTunes and features a translation tool, a currency converter, government travel alerts and an area to store policy documents.

CUA customers can apply for cover online. Customer-owned CUA grew out of the credit union movement and has about 400,000 customers and 63 branches.
