The head of Allianz’s new Tailored Underwriting Solutions business has announced his team.

GM Mike Pocknee says Rob Price will head property and engineering and Brett Lamond will lead motor, while a casualty leader is yet to be appointed.

Rob Walters will be National Underwriting Manager and Michelle Tomsic will be Program Manager, responsible for customer experience strategy.

They will report directly to Mr Pocknee.

“The team is charged with building our capability and service delivery in this important area of the market that falls between SME and the large corporate and specialty business covered by Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty,” Mr Pocknee said.

Key products include industrial special risk, standalone liability and professional indemnity, commercial motor fleet, and construction and engineering.

“The team has been tasked with making it simpler and more streamlined to do business with Allianz, building underwriting capability and improving service delivery across our existing distribution channels,” Mr Pocknee said.
