Allianz has appointed senior executive John Myler as Chief GM Market Management. He replaces Paul Kernaghan who was Chief Market Manager and left the company late last year.

Mr Myler was previously CEO of Allianz Global Assistance Australia, and is a former GM of direct and life insurance for Allianz Australia.

Before joining Allianz in 2006 he was national marketing manager at Shannons Insurance.
