Allianz Global Assistance has appointed Matthew Clayton as Chief Technical Officer for its Australian business.

Mr Clayton, previously GM domestic property for Allianz Australia, will manage product, underwriting and actuarial functions.

His other previous roles include head of underwriting for global property and casualty at Allianz SE in Munich from 2008 to 2011.
