Travel insurance and emergency assistance specialist Allianz Global Assistance has appointed Philip Hibbert as CEO for New Zealand.

Mr Hibbert, who has 15 years’ industry experience, joined the company in April last year as EM of New Zealand.

He worked on the acquisition of Comprehensive Travel Insurance, and as CEO he will oversee its integration.

“Allianz Global Assistance has huge potential to grow in the New Zealand market,” Mr Hibbert said.
