Allianz exec takes Government job
The Victorian Managed Insurance Authority – operator of the State Government’s captive insurer and risk management agency – has appointed an Allianz executive as its new CEO.
Steve Marshall, GM of Allianz Australia’s southern region, will take the reins from October 9.
He replaces Michael Guilmartin, who is retiring. Chairman Adrian Nye says the new executive will bring a fresh approach and he is confident the statutory authority will achieve great success under his leadership.
“In his roles at the Transport Accident Commission and the Accident Compensation Commission (now the Victorian WorkCover Authority), Steve demonstrated excellence in information technology, claims management, fraud investigation and insurance operations,” Mr Nye said.
