AIG says newly appointed Head of Operations Australia Gabrielle Nisbet will carry out a strategic review.

Ms Nisbet has been confirmed in the role after holding it on an interim basis for the past four months.

“With over 25 years working in risk, compliance, audit and operational roles largely across the financial services sector, Gabrielle is well-placed to manage and implement a strategic review of Australia’s operations,” AIG says in a statement.

Company stalwart Dan Collinson has also been promoted to Head of Commercial Insurance.

“Dan is well positioned to create a strong commercial lines community and drive underwriting excellence,” the insurer says on LinkedIn.

Mr Collinson has been with AIG for more than 17 years, most recently as Head of Financial Lines Pacific.

And Ameilia Douglas has been appointed Branch GM Queensland. Ms Douglas has been with AIG for 13 years, most recently underwriting financial lines in Queensland.
