AIG Life wins website accolade
AIG Life’s website has been rated the most responsive in an online survey of insurers.
The company finished top in all three categories in the survey by online service providers Gomez and Etcetera.
AIG Life achieved a response time of 0.83 seconds and availability of 100%, which it shared along with a number of other general and life insurers, including AAMI and NRMA.
CGU rated bottom for response time with 8.33 seconds, compared with an industry average of 4.05, while MLC’s website was the least consistent performer, with a rating of 7.17 seconds, well down on the average of 2.34.
Aviva finished last of the 18 insurers surveyed for availability, with a rating of 87.72, compared with an industry average of 98.97.
The survey benchmarked the speed and availability of insurers’ home pages by compiling the data from automatic hourly tests.
