AIG is celebrating six decades of operating in Australia, with several internal and external events planned this month.

From small beginnings in 1957, with just five employees in an unfinished building in Melbourne, AIG Australia has expanded to having 400 staff across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, offering a range of commercial and consumer lines.

“I am proud of our business here in Australia and all that has been achieved over the past 60 years,” CEO Noel Condon said.

“We have adapted to the changing environment around us, always restless to innovate and improve.

“I would like to thank everyone who has supported AIG Australia and our journey over the past six decades.”
