Ace Group has created a unit in Singapore to focus on distribution strategies across the Asia-Pacific region.

It says the unit will maximise product offerings, including portfolio-based solutions, facilities, joint product design and execution initiatives with key brokers.

It will also serve Ace’s large clients in the region, to ensure efficient trading across all commercial lines.

New Head of Distribution and Client Management Ben Carey will lead the unit.

He has worked for Ace since 2002 in Australia, Asia and the UK. In February last year he became head of property and casualty operations in Singapore.

Meanwhile, Perry O’Leary has been appointed Head of Distribution and Client Management in Australia and New Zealand. Mr O’Leary joined Ace as NSW manager in 2004 from Allianz, where he was northern region manager.
