Ace Insurance has appointed Brendan Hammond as General Counsel for Australia and New Zealand.

Mr Hammond, who has been with the Ace Group since 2008, was formerly deputy general counsel.

Before joining Ace he spent 15 years in private practice, representing insurers while at leading law firms in London and Sydney.

He has co-authored two Ace white papers on multinational risk, including the recently published Structuring Multinational Insurance Programs: Current Challenges in the Asia-Pacific Region.
