… and WGB restructures to add value to loss adjusting

Major loss adjuster Wyatt Gallagher Bassett is restructuring its loss adjusting division in a bid to improve its relationship with insurers and add value to its services. MD Peter Wyatt said insurers have made it clear to the loss adjusting industry that current levels of service must rise.

The restructuring project, “Adjusting the Future”, will allow Wyatt GB to “enhance its capacity to respond to the needs of its clients and their customers”, Mr Wyatt said. “We are seeing an increase in insurers dealing direct with builders, while others have established and continue to grow costly in-house loss adjusting departments,” he said. “Our new structure will fundamentally change the loss adjusting process.”
