Steadfast acquires Gold Seal businesses

Steadfast has purchased Gold Seal Practice Management and Gold Seal Intellectual Property, boosting its capabilities in compliance, training, customer experience and human resources management.

Gold Seal will bring eight staff to Steadfast, including MD Sheila Baker who will take on the role of EGM Compliance and Customer Experience, reporting directly to CEO Robert Kelly.

Steadfast says Gold Seal has a “proud history” in providing services to the general insurance market for more than 16 years.

“They are a high-quality organisation underpinned by talented staff who we have worked alongside closely for many years and have always admired the professional training they deliver to enhance the standards, reputation and success of the insurance industry,” Mr Kelly said today.

Ms Baker says the two businesses share similar cultures and a common commitment to strive for ongoing excellence.

The acquisition does not include Gold Seal International (GSI), which will continue to perform Lloyd’s coverholder audits to serve brokers outside the Steadfast network.

Gold Seal International, to be led by former Director David Mills, will change its name to GSI Professional Services in the near future.

The terms of the Steadfast acquisition are confidential.
