AUB Group CEO and MD Mark Searles will leave the broking and risk solutions network next year to pursue a “non-executive career”.

AUB announced this morning that Mr Searles intends to step down from his position in October next year.

The group also announced its full-year results, with adjusted net profit after tax increasing 10.3% to $44.6 million.

Mr Searles joined AUB in January 2013, having previously been chief commercial officer and GM at CGU. Prior to that he worked in senior roles with Zurich in the UK.

He has worked to transform AUB into a “total risk solutions” group by adding support services that insurance broking members can use to enhance their value to clients.

“I look forward to developing a non-executive career once my current role with AUB Group has been transitioned to my successor,” he said today.
