RACQ announces new insurance chief
Allianz executive John Myler has been unveiled as the new CEO of RACQ Insurance.
He replaces Bradley Heath, who announced his resignation in July and stepped down at the end of September.
Since Mr Heath’s departure, Chief Development Officer Chris Walsh has been Acting CEO Insurance and he will remain in the role until Mr Myler starts in May.
Mr Myler has been with Allianz for a decade, most recently as Chief Market Manager.
Prior to that he was Australia and New Zealand CEO for Allianz Global Assistance, and he also spent more than six years as Allianz’s GM Direct and Life Insurance.
He has also held marketing positions with Shannons Insurance and APIA.
RACQ says it carried out an international search and selected Mr Myler “because of his extensive and diverse insurance experience”.
