Lisa Woodley leaves Sunrise Exchange
Lisa Woodley, GM Insurance at Telstra eBusiness Services, will leave the company at the end of the month.
Telstra eBusiness Services GM Allan Burdekin said yesterday he was “very sad” to accept Ms Woodley’s resignation. “Lisa has been a vital part of the Sunrise Exchange team right from the start, and we’re going to miss her forthright manner, her industry expertise and her dedication to the job.”
Mr Burdekin says the awards for ebusiness and technology excellence won by Sunrise Exchange over the past few years are testimony to the hard work carried out by Ms Woodley and the Sunrise Exchange team.
“She has a tremendous profile in the insurance industry, and her understanding of the industry and its needs and capabilities has been of great value to us as we grew Sunrise Exchange.”
“Telstra management recognises Sunrise Exchange as an outstanding product with terrific potential for the future,” he said. “We’ll take this as an opportunity to review the structure and consult widely with our industry customers.”
He says in the weeks remaining until Ms Woodley leaves, the emphasis will be on the next stage in the evolution of Sunrise Exchange, market engagement and ensuring the right team is in place to take Sunrise Exchange forward.
Mr Burdekin says he regrets losing Ms Woodley from the team, “but Sunrise Exchange will continue to move forward. We have an exciting future ahead of us.”
