Envest reveals leadership changes after PSC acquisition
Envest has outlined organisational and leadership changes following the completion of Ardonagh’s acquisition of PSC Insurance Group.
CEO Greg Mullins says the group will be broadly organised across the pillars of networks, broking and agencies, and many of the PSC leaders will be joining Envest, helping to bring teams and resources together.
PSC MD Tony Robinson will move into a non-executive director role on the Envest board and chairman Paul Dwyer joins the Ardonagh Group senior management team, while PSC Australia and New Zealand CEO David Hosking will depart the combined group at the end of the month.
The Envest executive team will be expanded to include PSC Insurance Brokers CEO Ben Goodall and general counsel Julia Mitchell, who will work alongside chief risk officer Simon Gray.
PSC Insurance Brokers will operate alongside Aviso Group as part of Envest Broking and Mr Goodall joins the executive team alongside Aviso CEO Travis Kemp.
Craig Robson has been appointed CEO of Envest Networks, which will include Resilium and PSC Network Partners, with Tony Walker becoming chairman and continuing to lead PSC networks (Connect and Reliance Partners) and New Zealand businesses day to day.
PSC’s underwriting agencies – Chase, Breeze, Medisure, Insure4less, GoSafe and Travel Insuranz – will continue to report to PSC specialty CEO Adam Burgess and operate alongside Envest’s direct and intermediated agency brands led by agency CEO Richard Heilig.
“We look forward to the experience and insight these PSC leaders will bring to our senior management as we start a new chapter together,” Mr Mullins said.
Mr Hosking, a member of the National Insurance Brokers Association board, joined PSC three years ago after working for Allianz.
“David has made a significant contribution to PSC since joining in 2021,” Mr Mullins said. “During his tenure, PSC has nearly doubled in size and became more independent in nature, much of this established by David. We say thank you and wish him all the best for the future.”
The changes were announced today at the Envest Broking conference in Canberra, which brought together the Resilium and Aviso broking brands and included special guests from PSC.
