Quality home insurer Mansions of Australia has been bought by Australian Unity.

The underwriting agency was sold by Benfield Greig, which inherited the company when it took over broker EW Blanch earlier this year.

Australian Unity CFO Tony Connon said the Mansions of Australia brand and staff will be retained, and the acquisition will take immediate effect. Lloyd’s of London will continue to provide the underwriting support.
