Broker takes UK rugby kids to meet Wallabies

Well-known Australian expatriate insurance broker Paul Butler helped bring a smile to the faces of 25 young rugby fans in the UK by taking them to watch the Wallabies train at Twickenham before their recent match against England.

Children aged 7-12 from Chelmsford Rugby Club were delighted as the Wallabies players chatted and signed shirts, hats, scarves and balls.

Mr Butler, Executive Director of AustRe Brokers in London, says the children’s reaction was “priceless”.

“Kids here don’t have what we’ve grown up with, and they live through six months of cold and dark,” he said.

“They don’t have a lot of money, so anything we can do to help goes a long, long way.”
