Bookmarking a website is a great way to find a site you enjoy visiting quickly on the internet. Here are a few tips to help you bookmark the insuranceNEWS website:
Internet Explorer
Open the page you want to bookmark.
Select the "Favourites" menu option at the very top of your screen and choose “Add to Favourites” from the menu that drops down. From here select “Add to Favourites Bar”. It will automatically appear in your favourites bar at the top of your browser window.
Safari
Open the page you want to bookmark. Click on the + sign in the Safari toolbar at the top of your browser window.
In the menu that drops down, enter whatever name you would like to use to identify this site, choose “Bookmarks Bar” and click the “Add” button.
Mozilla Firefox
Open Mozilla Firefox and go to the website you wish to bookmark.
In the toolbar at the very top of the screen, select “Bookmarks”. Click “Bookmark This Page”.
The star at the end of the address bar will change colour, and a popup will inform you that the page has been bookmarked. Type whatever name you would like to use to identify this site, select “Bookmarks Toolbar” and “Done”.
It's easy. Simply choose Submit your event » located on the homepage in the Upcoming Events box. Enter the event details into the field boxes and select Submit.
Your event will be posted on the site shortly after.
Windows PC
Press the Control key and the + key to increase the font size
Press the Control key and the - key to decrease the font size
Apple Mac
Press the Apple Command key and the + key to increase font size
Press the Apple Command key and the - key to decrease font size
Total News Read
To print all of the week's news, click on the Total News Read link on the right hand side of the homepage. A user-friendly print option is available on that page.
The news is divided into different sections - Local, Corporate, Regulatory & Government, Financial Services, The Professional, International and Analysis.
There are a few different ways you can read the news:
Homepage
The homepage lists the top news articles for each section and links to other articles in the section. To read an article in full, click on the headline.
Section
If you just wish to read on a specific section, click on that section in the top menu of the insuranceNEWS.com.au homepage for a list of the latest articles for that section. To read the article in full, click on the headline.
Total News Read
To view all of the week's news, click on the Total News Read link on the right hand side of the homepage. A user-friendly print option is also available on that page.
If you want to re-subscribe to news alerts because you unsubscribed accidentally or due to a leave of absence from your workplace, then let us know.
Re-subscribe by selecting the Contact Us menu item at the bottom of the homepage and following the prompts. Let us know that you want to re-subscribe (include your preferred email address) and we'll arrange it.
To subscribe to receive a free copy of the magazine, simply click on the Subscribe link on the right hand side of the homepage and follow the prompts.
If you are already a subscriber to insuranceNEWS.com.au and want to receive insuranceNEWS (the magazine) select the Click here to update your profile at the bottom of your latest email alert.
To subscribe to receive email alerts simply click on the Subscribe link on the right hand side of the homepage and follow the prompts. You will receive a message confirming your successful subscription.
Update your email address by selecting Click here to update your subscriber profile at the bottom of your email alert. Simply enter your details in the relevant field.
Alternatively, select the Contact Us menu item at the bopttom of the page and let us know your current email address and the new email address you would like us to send your alerts to.
