Fire safety training centre unveiled

The Fire Protection Association Australia plans to open a new Sydney training centre as part of a major expansion of its services.

The centre will deliver face-to-face fire protection training in dedicated assessment environments.

“The new facility will be one of only a few in Australia that is focused on wet systems – including sprinklers, hydrants and pumps – as well as detection and alarm systems, special hazard systems and passive fire protection,” the association says.

It has also announced the creation of six new positions. “The new training facility and staff appointments represent a major investment in the future of our industry.”
