The Association of Financial Advisers has named the finalists for its female excellence and rising star awards.

The female excellence award contenders are:

• Wisdom of Wealth for Women founder Christina Cabrera
• Wellthy founder Lea Schodel
• Nicole Heales Financial Principal Adviser and Broker Nicole Heales
• Burcheart founder and MD Sacha Burchgart
• Sofcorp Financial Services Principal Financial Planner Tracey Sofra.

The rising star finalists are:

• Andrew Debono, Announcer Group
• Karlee Hoog-Antink, Elders Financial Planning Mackay
• Keats Brydon, Finn Financial Planning
• Lauren Walker, Euroz Securities
• Mia Taylor, Evalesco Financial Services 
• Sam Jewell, Rising Tide Financial Services.

The association will announce the winners at its conference on the Gold Coast from October 11-13.
