Clem Booth to chair Dual

London-based Dual International has appointed former Allianz board member Clem Booth as its non-executive Chairman.

Mr Booth’s Allianz responsibilities before he retired from the group last December included oversight of its Australian operations.

Dual International CEO Shane Doyle says Mr Booth “will be the perfect chairman to guide Dual and ensure we remain at the forefront of service, distribution, product and technological development, as well as disciplined underwriting”.

The company lays claim to being the world’s largest underwriting agency and the largest international coverholder at Lloyd’s. It employs 400 people worldwide and has annual gross written premium of $US635 million ($900.5 million).

Mr Booth will also join the board of Dual’s parent company, Hyperion.
