From today strata insurer QUS will handle all its claims in-house, rather than using a third-party administrator.

It follows a thorough review and consultation with its network of brokers.

QUS has formed a team of strata claims specialists with insurance partner AIG. It will operate from 8.30am-5pm in each capital city, and there will also be an after-hours claims service.

Claims currently being handled under the third-party administrator arrangement will continue until they are finalised or brought in-house.
