Arthur J Gallagher has announced a new single brand for its two Australian underwriting agencies.

SRS and Australis Group will be known from November 1 as Pen Underwriting.

CEO Paul Lynam told insuranceNEWS.com.au SRS and Australis “will continue operating under their present names until November 1”.

“Pen Underwriting will be one of the largest underwriting agencies in Australia, providing unparalleled access to both the Lloyd’s market and local insurers,” he said.

Mr Lynam sold SRS to Gallagher in November. The US-based broker has owned Australis since 2007.
