Kennedys names two new Australia-based partners

Specialist insurance law firm Kennedys has appointed Sydney lawyers Con Kakakios and Nathan Buck as partners, bringing its tally to 24 across Australia...

Mr Kakakios joined from Clyde & Co in December as Special Counsel, in conjunction with Lucinda Lyons’ appointment as a partner. He specialises in personal injury law and has substantial experience in civil liability personal injury claims and large-scale complex property matters.

Mr Buck has experience representing insurers across several sectors, with specialisations in strata disputes, professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, and inquiries and inquests. He has more than two decades’ legal experience and has been with Kennedys since 2020.

Australian Managing Partner Jonathan Wyatt says the pair are “outstanding additions” to its partner line-up.

“Their promotions are significant career milestones and reflect many years of hard work and an ongoing commitment to provide our clients with exceptional service in their dedicated areas, not to mention showing the leadership qualities we value as a firm,” he said.
