Dive In Festival: Belonging for Impact (NSW)

This presentation builds on the work of renowned US Professor Brene Brown, who promotes the idea that belonging only occurs in workplaces when employees are encouraged to be themselves. It will empower participants to understand the importance of belonging and driving more positive outcomes for diversity in the insurance industry.

The format of the two-hour working lunch includes an overview and explanation of belonging. This will be followed by table-led discussions identifying elements of belonging for different diversity personas utilising Empathy Mapping. By the end of the session, participants will be asked to pledge an action to promote a greater sense of belonging in their workplaces.

Please note: This is a highly interactive session, where participants will be encouraged to collaborate with other table members and should be prepared to provide open and honest feedback to the broader working group.
